Next week will be Amber Dohnt’s last in her role as Wellbeing Leader at Warradale Primary School. Amber has provided fantastic support to students, staff and leaders at our school for an extended period of time and she will certainly leave a big whole in our school community. She has been instrumental in establishing a range of programs and learning opportunities for students, many of which will continue to positively impact their lives well into the future. Children’s University, in-school mentoring, student leadership development, talent shows, In-School Psychology provision and of course capturing important school moments with her trusty camera, are just a few of the important ways Amber has made a huge difference in her role. Amber is well known for going above and beyond the call of duty to support the social and emotional wellbeing of students and staff, including making personal home visits and case managing interagency support for families. Amber and her family will be relocating to Queensland. We will officially farewell Amber at our end of year assembly being held from 1.40pm next Friday 13 December in The Hall.
